TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT POLICIES
Our standard shipping method is through USPS Priority Mail and is guaranteed within up to 2-4 business days of the shipping date for domestic clients. International orders are delivered within up to 7-10 business days of the shipping date. International orders may be subject to additional duties, taxes or custom fees and Coslife Studios is not responsible for these extra charges. We are not responsible for damaged goods from shipping. If you are worried about the possibility of damage, there are insurance options for your package. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to include the cost for insurance when we ship out your product.
USPS Priority Mail Express is a guaranteed way to send documents and packages to a destination overnight or within 1 to 2 days (depending which part of the country you are in) on any day of the year, excluding Sundays and holidays.
UPS and Fedex services are also available upon request.
Consultation Sheet & Reservations
Coslife Studios will go over the client's measurements, fabric options, and any additional services such as accessories, props, shoes, and wig choices upon request. The consultation sheet will be provided with a final quote after the designer and client have discussed all required information and come upon an agreement with cost. After everything is finalized with the consultation sheet and final cost amount, a finalized invoice will be provided via email in (.pdf format). If the final set cost is not within the client's budget, the invoice can be reviewed to discuss cheaper alternatives and changed. After providing the final quote with the documented invoice (.pdf), the client has up to 1 week to finalize their booking by signing our terms, conditions and agreement policy form. The form must be returned signed electronically and through a paper hardcopy via mail along with their deposit or it will be deemed, " unaccountable ", cancelled, and their spot will not be reserved.
Coslife Studios is only accepting payments through Paypal at this time. A deposit payment is required before a finalized invoice of the overall project is sent to the client. Please refer to the request page to see additional information regarding deposit rates. Once a finalized invoice is sent, the client will have up to 3 days to pay the total invoice or the booking will be deemed "unsecured" and cancelled. However, in some cases when worked out with the designer, some individual customers may have their own individual payment plan setup and specific due dates to pay are indicated on their invoice.
* A form will be emailed as a .pdf to be signed agreeing to our terms and policies before a finalized invoice is sent out. The form must be returned signed electronically and mailed back to us with a hard copy signature. Both copies of the policy agreement form must be returned ( electronic/paper) and 1st payment must be paid before any production begins on a project.
* We will never send out a project without receiving final/full payment from the client. It's the customers responsibility to keep track of their invoice with payment dates. We provided a copy to every client with project invoices that include their own individual payment plan. If the final payment is not sent, the project will not be given or mailed out.
No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges
It is the responsibility of the client to submit his or her measurements/sizes to the request page. When additional measurements are required by the customer due to product modification. The new measurements must be submitted to the request page, email, or facebook message. Coslife Studios urge customers who are having trouble understanding the sizing chart or unsure about taking their own measurements at home , to seek out a seamstress or a tailor to ensure correct measurements are made. Please make sure when dealing with the seamstress or tailor that they follow our measurement charts and provide the correct measurements. Coslife Studio's team is not responsible for a product that is deemed too big or small, if incorrect measurements are provided by the client. Costumes are made according to the exact measurements and image references provided by the client. (This also applies to props, shoes, and wig styling). It is the client's responsibility to provide as many reference photos and details as possible to ensure the best results. Clients must communicate their costume expectations as clear as possible when requesting our services to ensure you are getting the best product possible. Again, the customer must provide as many reference photos as possible to ensure the right quality. Coslife Studios uploads progress photos to clients to ensure everything checks out. If you are not happy with any of the details with your project shown in the progress photos, you must communicate with customer service as soon as possible to make all necessary changes. It is not Coslife Studio's responsibility if there was no communication provided to change or alter the design of the costume. Please read below regarding our alteration warranty which we offer to clients after they receive their costumes.
At Home Care
Coslife Studios always encourage our customers to dry clean our costumes and proceed with caution when wearing the costume with appropriate care. We do not recommend doing anything too physical to prevent damages, distress or deforming of the costume. Coslife Studios is not responsible for any damages, distress, or deforming to the costume once received by the customer. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be given when a customer is liable for damages.
As a precaution - Coslife Studios does not allow cats in my work station area for your safety and prevention of an allergic reaction. However, please indicate if you have an allergy on your request form and be aware that there is a cat in the perimeter of our work area when you place your order. Dry cleaning services can be provided in order to prevent a reaction before your product is shipped to you. Please be aware that an additional charge will be placed on your final invoice for the extra service. By signing this document, you agree that Coslife Studios is not liable for any allergic reactions potentially caused by these allergies as well as the additional charge associated with the dry cleaning service.
We offer free limited alteration service/ warranty to customers needing a fix or alterations to their costumes. This alteration service/warranty covers small alterations up to a certain dollar amount. The duration of this warranty is 14 days after the customer receives his/her product. Alterations for current customers going beyond the warranty period can be done at a discounted rate based on what is requested. The client is responsible for all additional shipping fees. If the customer modifies, alters, or damages the costume and does not use the free alteration service within the warranty period, the customer violates our free alterations policy. The customer agrees to our terms and policies when the customer contracts us for a job.
Any alterations the customer wishes to have made on the costume:
1.) Must be made within a reasonable notice of time in order to get the product back to the customer when they need it. Our free alteration service only covers up to a certain dollar amount (i.e. smaller alterations only, larger alterations will be given a discount on labor and materials for current customers who follow our policy.)
2.) The costume must be returned to the manufacturer in the same condition as it was received within the warranty period. In order for the customer to take advantage of the free alteration service.
Process Time Of Projects
Coslife Studios request that all customers wishing to do business with us be aware that Designer Nao has sustained injuries in her dominant wrist. Due this fact, by signing this policy form, you acknowledge that you understand that there will be times that work can not be completed within a certain amount of time. It is advised to check the booking calendar to see the current status of the production line. Production time for projects normally is completed within 4 to 10 weeks upon request ( depending on size of each individual projects). However, due to recent high volumes and due to the designer's injury it may take longer than expected. Each deadline will be discussed between the designer and the client booking through us. This especially applies to larger projects and prop services. We kindly request that you set your completion date at least 1 month before your event.
1.) The process period is to research a character for accuracy, to draw out patterns of the correct size, to source all materials needed to complete the project, to return a price quote before project begins, and depending in the complexity of the project and the number of projects currently on the production line.
2.) Coslife Studios requires that you send the completion date/deadline of the project latest 1 month before your event in order to provide warranty alteration services if requested. It may also allow us some extra time if needed to work on your overall project.
